Obama Funding Syrian Rebels Beheading Christians, Using Child Soldiers

The mainstream media is reporting on the latest ‘big terror’ threat from al-Qaeda that is apparently the ‘most significant’ threat in years, yet they simultaneously fail to mention that the Obama administration is all the while funding al-Qaeda through arming and financing Syrian rebels that have major ties to the group.

Surely this essential point is at least worth mentioning when you consider the fact that Obama even initiated the large-scale arming of the al-Qaeda-linked Syrian rebels through a ‘secret order’, which was reported by mainstream news outlet Reuters back in 2012.

It was this ‘secret order’ that began the steady stream of arms and resources towards the Syrian rebels group that even the mainstream media admits goes around killing all Christians and innocents who fail to submit to their cause via public beheadings.

These barbaric rebels are truly a respectable group that Obama has chosen to fund with taxpayer dollars, equip with assault weapons (which he meanwhile attempts to ban in the United States), and is now pushing for yet another year of full-fledged funding despite the reports of beheadings and boundless bloodlust exhibited by the rebels.

But none of that matters to the mainstream media now, which is absolutely flailing around yelling about this new ‘big threat’ from al-Qaeda that apparently has around two dozen United States embassies closed within the Middle East and North Africa. Senator Saxy Chambliss, who actually was the first major politician to reveal key points regarding the Boston bombing intel, says the new threat is the ‘most serious’ he has seen ‘in years’. ABC News is now even reporting that it is a planned attack that is one of the biggest ever caught on record.

The ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, told ABC News:

“We received information that high level people from al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula are talking about a major attack… And these are people at a high level.”

It’s all coming from al-Qaeda, the same group Obama is funding through the Syrian rebels to overthrow Assad via chaos and bloodshed. So which is it, are al-Qaeda members the good guys or the bad guys? Well, it seems the mainstream media will flip and flop all day on this issue whenever convenient. Because just looking back at recent news, the argument wasn’t even about whether or not we should be funding the al-Qaeda-linked Syrian rebels, but whether or not we were giving them ‘enough‘ funding.

Watch as this story develops, and watch as they ignore this key factor I am addressing to you. Instead of discussing it, watch as al-Qaeda transitions to the bad guy once again in order to escalate ‘security’ measures within the United States for law-abiding citizens. Checkout this video I recorded exposing how Obama funds the Syrian rebels who kill Christians and other innocents who do not convert to their cause for a full breakdown, and be sure to share this information to combat the media madness.

WASHINGTON |         Wed Aug 1, 2012 9:04pm EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama has signed a secret order authorizing U.S. support for rebels seeking to depose Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his government, sources familiar with the matter said.

Obama’s order, approved earlier this year and known as an intelligence “finding,” broadly permits the CIA and other U.S. agencies to provide support that could help the rebels oust Assad.

This and other developments signal a shift toward growing, albeit still circumscribed, support for Assad’s armed opponents – a shift that intensified following last month’s failure of the U.N. Security Council to agree on tougher sanctions against the Damascus government.

The White House is for now apparently stopping short of giving the rebels lethal weapons, even as some U.S. allies do just that. (mediachecker->NATO)

But U.S. and European officials have said that there have been noticeable improvements in the coherence and effectiveness of Syrian rebel groups in the past few weeks. That represents a significant change in assessments of the rebels by Western officials, who previously characterized Assad’s opponents as a disorganized, almost chaotic, rabble. (mediachecker->why call them rebels when we all know they’re terrorists…)

Precisely when Obama signed the secret intelligence authorization, an action not previously reported, could not be determined.

The full extent of clandestine support that agencies like the CIA might be providing also is unclear.

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor declined comment.

‘NERVE CENTER’

A U.S. government source acknowledged that under provisions of the presidential finding, the United States was collaborating with a secret command center operated by Turkey and its allies.

Last week, Reuters reported that, along with Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Turkey had established a secret base near the Syrian border to help direct vital military and communications support to Assad’s opponents.

This “nerve center” is in Adana, a city in southern Turkey about 60 miles from the Syrian border, which is also home to Incirlik, a U.S. air base where U.S. military and intelligence agencies maintain a substantial presence.

Turkey’s moderate Islamist government has been demanding Assad’s departure with growing vehemence. Turkish authorities are said by current and former U.S. government officials to be increasingly involved in providing Syrian rebels with training and possibly equipment.

European government sources said wealthy families in Saudi Arabia and Qatar were providing significant financing to the rebels. Senior officials of the Saudi and Qatari governments have publicly called for Assad’s departure.

On Tuesday, NBC News reported that the Free Syrian Army (mediachecker->Al Nusra-al Qaeda) had obtained nearly two dozen surface-to-air missiles, weapons that could be used against Assad’s helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. (mediachecker->reminds me of the Balkans and the KLA/UCK-AlQaeda-Mujahedin) Syrian government armed forces have employed such air power more extensively in recent days.

NBC said the shoulder-fired missiles, also known as MANPADs, had been delivered to the rebels via Turkey.

On Wednesday, however, Bassam al-Dada, a political adviser to the Free Syrian Army, denied the NBC report, telling the Arabic-language TV network Al-Arabiya that the group had “not obtained any such weapons at all.” U.S. government sources said they could not confirm the MANPADs deliveries, but could not rule them out either.

Current and former U.S. and European officials previously said that weapons supplies, which were being organized and financed by Qatar and Saudi Arabia, were largely limited to guns and a limited number of anti-tank weapons, such as bazookas.

Indications are that U.S. agencies have not been involved in providing weapons to Assad’s opponents. In order to do so, Obama would have to approve a supplement, known as a “memorandum of notification, to his initial broad intelligence finding.

Further such memoranda would have to be signed by Obama to authorize other specific clandestine operations to support Syrian rebels.

Reuters first reported last week that the White House had crafted a directive authorizing greater U.S. covert assistance to Syrian rebels. It was unclear at that time whether Obama had signed it.

OVERT SUPPORT

Separately from the president’s secret order, the Obama administration has stated publicly that it is providing some backing for Assad’s opponents.

The State Department said on Wednesday the U.S. government had set aside a total of $25 million for “non-lethal” assistance to the Syrian opposition. A U.S. official said that was mostly for communications equipment, including encrypted radios.

The State Department also says the United States has set aside $64 million in humanitarian assistance for the Syrian people, including contributions to the World Food Program, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other aid agencies.

Also on Wednesday, the U.S. Treasury confirmed it had granted authorization to the Syrian Support Group, Washington representative of one of the most active rebel factions, the Free Syrian Army, to conduct financial transactions on the rebel group’s behalf. The authorization was first reported on Friday by Al-Monitor, a Middle East news and commentary website.

Last year, when rebels began organizing themselves to challenge the rule of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Obama also signed an initial “finding” broadly authorizing secret U.S. backing for them. But the president moved cautiously in authorizing specific measures to support them.

Some U.S. lawmakers, such as Republican Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, have criticized Obama for moving too slowly to assist the rebels and have suggested the U.S. government become directly involved in arming Assad’s opponents.

Other lawmakers have suggested caution, saying too little is known about the many rebel groups.

Recent news reports from the region have suggested that the influence and numbers of Islamist militants, some of them connected to al Qaeda or its affiliates, have been growing among Assad’s opponents.

U.S. and European officials say that, so far, intelligence agencies do not believe the militants’ role in the anti-Assad opposition is dominant.

While U.S. and allied government experts believe that the Syrian rebels have been making some progress against Assad’s forces lately, most believe the conflict is nowhere near resolution, and could go on for years.

Syrians behead Christians for helping military, as CIA ships in arms

A priest and another Christian were beheaded before a cheering crowd  by  Syrian insurgents who say they aided and abetted the enemy, President  Bashar  Assad’s military, foreign media reported.

An undated video that made the Internet rounds on Wednesday showed  two  unnamed men with tied hands surrounded by a cheering crowd of  dozens, just  moments before their heads were cut off with a small knife,  Syria Report said.  The attackers in the video then lifted the head for  show, and placed it back on  the body. The incident took place in the  countryside of Idlib, the media report  said.

Syria Report said that foreign militants have increased attacks on civilians  in recent weeks —  and that many of these insurgents are supported by the West  and by  Saudi Arabia, Qatar  and Turkey. Just recently, a Catholic priest was   recently executed by radicals, and last month, an entire Christian  village in  Homs was burned to the ground, Syria Report said. Moreover,  two Christian  bishops kidnapped in Aleppo at the beginning of the year  are still missing.

The reported beheading of the two Christians comes about the same  time  America has started sending arms to rebel fighters, the Wall Street  Journal  revealed this week. The Journal reported the Central  Intelligence Agency just began transporting weapons to Jordan for  eventual  transfer to Syrian fighters.

The weapons transfer is aimed at helping Free Syrian forces oust Mr.  Assad. It’s scheduled to coincide with arms shipments from other  European  and Arab allies for a planned and coordinated rebel attack set  for August, the  Journal reported.

The CIA  weapons transfer will take about three weeks, and involves light arms — and  possibly antitank missiles, the Journal said.

Warning: Gruesome video of CIA and NATO backed Al Nusra Front Execute 12 Syrians

It’s not only Christians but regular Muslims as well. Christians first in all things, next the rest, none of whom will convert to the psychopathic mercenary straits of Islamists. They’re paid assassins with the mullahs using mosques as recruiting offices where each recruit is worth a lot of money. It’s probably why these mullahs instigate on the continuum. Similar tactics were used in the Balkans but that time they used Christians as the antagonists, probably because they already made a deal with Muslims on Kosovo, which has the highest content of mineral resources in the whole area. Tripeca Mining Company is a biggie. Princess Mabel, her lover, Soros, et al were very helpful in the Balkan arena.

August 6, 2013 UPDATE: Al-Nusra Mercenaries in Syria Slaughter Kurdish Women and Children

Global Research, August 06, 2013

alnusra

According to a report posted on the Al-Alam News Network, the al-Nusra Front has massacred 120 children and 330 men and women in the town of Tal Abyad located in a district of northern Syria that is part of the Al-Raqqa governorate.

Kurds in the area have recently formed militias to fight against terrorist mercenaries from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and al-Nusra Front.

Kurds have come under attack in Aleppo, Tal Aran and Tal Hasel. Terrorists have killed and abducted residents of the towns and forced others to flee.

On August 1, the Saudi-owned pan-Arab television news channel al-Arabiya reported that an “al-Qaeda-linked group took around 200 Kurdish civilians after violent clashes with Kurdish fighters in Syria” after seizing control of Tal Aren (see video below).

Kurds say the attacks remind them of the al-Anfal campaign launched by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in the 1980s. In addition to Kurds, the campaign launched during the final stages of the Iran-Iraq War targeted other non-Arab populations, including Assyrians, Shabaks, Iraqi Turkmens, Yazidis, Jews, Mandeans, and others.

In June, a former member of al-Qaeda accused Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani, the leader of the al-Nusra Front, of working for the CIA. “I personally believe that the leader of the Nusra Army who declared his support for Ayman al-Zawahiri is a CIA operative,” said Sheikh Nabil Naiim.

In addition to probable CIA connections, al-Nusra is said to be connected to Turkish intelligence. Turkey has waged a long and relentless war against the Kurds.
