Don’t worry. I have it on good authority from a Nigerian prince and a friend who lost his wallet in Vladivostok that these guys were totally on the level:
U.S. intelligence agencies last week urged the Obama administration to check its new healthcare network for malicious software after learning that developers linked to the Belarus government helped produce the website, raising fresh concerns that private data posted by millions of Americans will be compromised.
The intelligence agencies notified the Department of Health and Human Services, the agency in charge of the Healthcare.gov network, about their concerns last week. Specifically, officials warned that programmers in Belarus, a former Soviet republic closely allied with Russia, were suspected of inserting malicious code that could be used for cyber attacks, according to U.S. officials familiar with the concerns.
The software links the millions of Americans who signed up for Obamacare to the federal government and more than 300 medical institutions and healthcare providers.
“The U.S. Affordable Care Act software was written in part in Belarus by software developers under state control, and that makes the software a potential target for cyber attacks,” one official said.
We’ve been hearing all along that the architecture of the Healthcare.gov website is particularly susceptible to hacker penetration. David Kennedy, a former Marine Corps cyberwarfare expert turned Internet security consultant, has warned since October that the system leaves critical identity information exposed. That got worse rather than better after the operational fixes made in November, and HHS doesn’t even have systems in place to detect such intrusions.
Small wonder why the Obama administration didn’t want to brief Congress on security issues in December. These security gaps were presumed to be the product of incompetent programming and management. Until now, we didn’t realize that the subcontracts for programming went in part to a firm connected with a hostile regime. Belarus has remained a satellite to Moscow with a dictator in charge ever since the breakup of the Soviet Union, Alexander Lukashenko, and the regime is decidedly unfriendly to the West. Currently, the US doesn’t even recognize the legitimacy of Lukashenko’s government after his rigged 2010 election.
How did this happen? Normally, we’d pay good money to keep hostile regimes from penetrating our government operations. In this case, it looks as though we paid them to do it. Great job, HHS!
But it’s not all bad. If you think your identity information has been hijacked, just call the ObamaCare hotline. Be sure to ask for Peggy.

Why didn’t they hire US companies to develop the software for a few million?

Obama Signs Belarus Sanctions; Calls Belarus President a “Dictator”
Monday, 09 January 2012 09:15
Written by Joe Wolverton, II, J.D.
On January 3, President Barack Obama signed into law legislation imposing sanctions on Belarus. The Belarus Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2011 was passed by Congress in December in response to a litany of alleged human rights abuses on the part of the former Soviet Republic.
The text of the act enumerates several causes of the congressional effort to punish Belarus:
The Government of Belarus has engaged in a pattern of clear and uncorrected violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
Obama by default via his preferred well-known corrupt Canadian company gives the Belarus [and Russian] government a multi-million dollar sub-contract. Insodoing Obama’ Canadian company gives the Belarius sub-contractors access to the personal information of every citizen in the USA thus providing them with a wonderful opportunity, to not only control a health security system of 310 million people, but the ability to blackmail, build backdoors for hacking, national security and privacy rights aren’t important for the little people. So not only do the programmers have total control but also the governments of Belarus and Russia have access. Hackers also got an invite. Some of the worlds must proficient hackers live in the region, so not only do they steal your identity, get new credit cards in your name, send you all the bills they also get, as an added bonus, the chance to screw up your PC with malware. Even by Obama’s miserable track record of failure, this whole “health” scheme is a standout.
Why didn’t they hire a US company/US companies to develop the software for a few million?
I guess Obama’s done such a remarkable job on the economy in the US – he had no other option but to outsource these lucrative jobs. Thanks a lot Benedict!
Note: Follow the money… Obama and Michelle gave a billion dollars of tax-payer money to a Canadian company, which employed a friend of Michelle’s from Princeton, to design a website that could be done for a few million. They in turn sub it out to Belarus probably for a few million. So where’s the rest of the money?

Not only will Obamacare kill off over 2.3 million jobs but it will reduce wages, too!
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) Director Douglas Elmendorf told a Congressional committee today that Obamacare will reduce workers wages.
“We expect as other analysts believe that over time costs that employers bare for their employees end up being borne by the employee in the form of lower wages.”
It’s not as if Americans weren’t already suffering.

Since Obama entered the White House US households have lost $4,019 in real income, a little less than a month’s income every year. (WSJ)
Well, ain’t that just swell. Thanks Obama and the Democrats who voted in this 3,000 page law without reading it!!!
